On Waters
Rain calms the wounded land…
Dizzy rocks are stunned by the plea
Of gripping shrubs calling their senses…
“Hold still…”
Breeze taps the shoulder of illusions
Silence. It’s the will of their opposite.
And the fists which ended the civil decree
“Breathe…”
Sun dried prosperity
Air under fainted fragments suffocates
Closing the eyes of a little child… opening a new one.
