Bliss from a Memory (2007)

(An Example of a Creative Writing Essay)

As I gazed upon the wide open sky, a memory suddenly crossed my mind. I thought it  had drifted far in my subconciousness but now, it was alive and I almost sensed that it was   real. " Ah this feeling..." The wind blew touching the chimes hanged in the window creating a sweet gentle melody. "...is this what they call bliss?" I pushed my bangs out of my forehead. The leaves were falling and their dried herb-like scent mixed in the air. From that moment, I   let myself be possessed by that memory. It warmed my soul and it took my spirit to ecstacy.
There was this unchanging serenity, so light that I could almost see myself floating up  to  the heavens and gliding along the bright colors of the rainbow. I slithered forth the sun. As I  went nearer, I closed my eyes and its gleaming rays pinched my cheeks. I opened them. There were voices. I noticed that the clouds had moved along the spaces and had given way for the sun to shine. Now I knew, I was back to reality. "How bizarre!" I exclaimed. "It inspires blossoms to untie their petals to bloom though not in season and not in time. Unravelling the truth and certainty may be hard but... concealing such passion is even harder." The voices became louder.
"Just three minutes and you'll be on your march..."
" I wish you all the happiness..."
" Congratulations."
The breeze went on. The leaves rustled and the chimes continued humming its melody. It was my wedding day. Oh my... just imagine how time flies by... so fast...
